My Life in West Africa
About Me

Liv
My name is Liv and I love to travel, meet new people, and adventure. I graduated from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service in May 2025 with a degree in International Politics, International Law, and Spanish. I like to say that I'm a very spontaneous, yet Type A extrovert who thrives in fast-paced and ever-changing environments.

This October, I began a fifteen month journey with the Peace Corps in The Gambia, West Africa. I can’t wait to share this chapter with you!
My Core Beliefs
I am a firm believer that most people are good, and I strongly believe in the responsibility and power of the U.S. Government to do good around the world. This is fundamental part of why I am spending my time to serve my country and broader international development goals through The Peace Corps.

I have always loved the idea that when I travel, change my environment, and allow myself to be the only constant variable, then I discover more about myself in the process. This journey will be far from easy, but I am excited for it!
